World Day for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated annually on 28 April to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally.

To commemorate the day, an awareness campaign was held at SQL premises on how promoting and creating a safety culture in order to reduce the number of work-related deaths and injuries at workplace with Dr Piyavi Wijewardene, hes a multidisciplinary researcher with a vast experience in the area of Occupational Safety & Health (NUH ,Singapore) for all employees.

At the same-time , A competition was arranged with the Global Team focusing on the importance of reporting safety observations and near-misses to make sure we all come home safe from work and the person who delivered the best near miss to the HSE committee was awarded a certificate and a gift.
