We launched of our Initial Plastic Recycling and Effective Disposal Project in collaboration with Eco Spindlers, held on October 24, 2024, at Sri Medhankara Maha Vidyalaya, Horana. This impactful initiative is designed to promote sustainable waste management practices and encourage the collection and recycling of plastic waste within the community.
The launch event saw an impressive 400 kg of plastic waste collected by the students and teachers, demonstrating the power of community engagement and the school’s dedication to environmental stewardship.
Our Managing Director, General Manager, Heads of Departments, and all interns were present to support this important cause, showcasing Sunquick Lanka’s unified commitment to fostering a sustainable future.
This project marks just the beginning—we aim to expand this initiative to more schools and communities, empowering individuals to embrace eco-friendly practices through education, collaboration, and action. Moreover, We planted 50 fruit trees at the school highlighting our dedication to creating a greener future for the next generation.
